{"id":5998,"date":"2019-11-05T07:55:01","date_gmt":"2019-11-05T05:55:01","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/afilired.masterbip.com\/afiliados\/5-useful-google-trends-for-black-friday-within-the-travel-sector\/"},"modified":"2023-07-28T17:32:42","modified_gmt":"2023-07-28T15:32:42","slug":"5-useful-google-trends-for-black-friday-within-the-travel-sector","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/dev.www.affilired.com\/en\/advertisers\/5-useful-google-trends-for-black-friday-within-the-travel-sector\/","title":{"rendered":"5 useful Google Trends for Black Friday within the travel sector"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>With Black Friday fast approaching, every sector is watching their markets closely to try and predict what will happen this season.<\/p>\n<p>The unstoppable growth of this phenomenon means that expectations are always high, but a few uncertainties still remain, Black Friday doesn\u2019t perform as strongly in all countries, nor do all sectors benefit the same way.<\/p>\n<p>Faced with these uncertainties, it is interesting to take a closer look at the data made available by Google Trends and what it reveals about Black Friday within the travel sector. <strong>At Affilired, we searched the term \u201cBlack Friday\u201d segmented by the travel category, this is what we extracted<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The country with the highest number of searches for \u201cBlack Friday\u201d worldwide last year was Spain.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-14381 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/dev.www.affilired.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/trends-1-1024x832.png\" alt=\"Google trends\" width=\"1024\" height=\"832\" \/><\/span><\/li>\n<li>\n<p align=\"left\"><span style=\"font-size: large;\">\u00a0&#8220;Flights Black Friday&#8221;, &#8220;Black Friday Deals&#8221;, and &#8220;Black Friday Hotel&#8221; were among the 5 most popular search terms internationally, during the <\/span><span style=\"font-size: large;\">last year.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-14379 size-full\" src=\"https:\/\/dev.www.affilired.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/trends3-1.png\" alt=\"Google Trends 3\" width=\"552\" height=\"350\" \/><\/span><\/p>\n<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">Over the last 5 years, the number of searches for &#8220;Black Friday&#8221; has continually been increasing. According to the figures we extracted, Spain is the country with the highest number of &#8220;Black Friday&#8221; related searches. <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-14380 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/dev.www.affilired.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/tends-2-1-1024x836.png\" alt=\"Google Trends 2\" width=\"1024\" height=\"836\" \/><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">The Spanish regions that have shown the greatest interest in Black Friday travel offers during the last 12 months were: The Canary Islands, Ceuta, Melilla, Baleares and Madrid.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone wp-image-14378 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/dev.www.affilired.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/trends-4-1.png\" alt=\"Google Trends 4\" width=\"1024\" height=\"849\" \/><\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: large;\">In Spain, the top 5 most popular searches on Google during the last 12 months were &#8220;Vuelos Black Friday&#8221;, &#8220;Viajes Black Friday&#8221; and &#8220;Black Friday Hoteles&#8221;.<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-14377\" src=\"https:\/\/dev.www.affilired.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2021\/03\/trends-5-1.png\" alt=\"Google Trends 5\" width=\"506\" height=\"309\" \/><\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>* Throughout the process of extracting the data for the above report, the search term &#8220;Black Friday&#8221; and the category &#8220;travel&#8221; remained unchanged.
